In other words, we help multinational companies such as Ford, Volkswagen, Porcelanosa, Gestamp, Faurecia, Mercadona, DHL, Carrefour, among others, not to lose their cars, trolleys, pallets, machines, tools, finished products, and even people, in other words, being more efficient in their logistical, productive, quality or client-related processes, localizing and remotely managing their critical assets in real time and wirelessly.

Responsibilities

  • Implement best practice purchasing strategy.
  • Manage relationships with key partners/vendors.
  • Coordinate with other departments the inventory’s tracking and the orders placement.
  • Establish budgets.
  • Create purchasing and procurement policies and ensure that they are respected.
  • Elaborate and supervise contracts and contract negotiations.
  • Mitigate risks and develop opportunities, collaborating with other departments.
  • Research and evaluation of products and vendors aligned with the company’s portfolio and strategy.
  • Satisfy the Product department’s needs in terms of products’ and services’requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead, with the Marketing team, the knowledge center related to the prices and the products that exist (investigating the market and the competition).
  • Satisfy the clients’ needs for the projects lead by the Operations team, aligning price and service.

Requirements

  • PTechnical Master´s Degree.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Director or similar role.
  • Knowledge of the Hardware and Software technology.
  • Experience in B2B, HW and SaaS.
  • High analytical and reporting skills.
  • Capacity to negotiate internationally and familiarity with national and international (Europe, Asia etc.) vendors and purchases.
  • Familiarity with the Scaleup management principles.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Outstanding organizational, management and leadership abilities.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with senior staff on all levels.
